Dirt (referred to as Studio Dirt or the "Studio") is a global creative greenhouse building for the deeply invested. We operate as a decentralised studio based in Australia, serving the world via the Dirtverse platform at [dirtverse.co]. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the Privacy and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 (Cth).

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to engineer your brand world. This includes:

  • Direct Information: Name, email address, and project specifics provided via our enquiry forms.

  • Automated Data: IP addresses, device types, and site interaction data collected via cookies to improve the experience within the Dirtverse.

  • Project Materials: As per our Creative Services Agreement, any materials you provide for a project are warranted by you as your property or materials for which you have the necessary authorised rights for Dirt to use.

  • Maintain the structural integrity of our digital builds and communicate regarding active projects.

  • Showcase our portfolio. As per our established terms, Dirt retains the right to utilise work produced for you in our online and offline portfolios, client lists, and exhibitions, provided no confidential information is disclosed.

Dirt does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, such as website hosting, email platforms, and accounting software. As we build for the world, your data may be processed on secure servers outside Australia (including the United States and Europe). We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Note on Intellectual Property: While your data is yours, all materials, ideas, or concepts produced by Dirt remain the Studio’s property until full invoice payment is received. Materials not produced or paid for within 60 days remain the property of Dirt as per our collaboration terms.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse and unauthorised access. Dirt is subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme; if a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by law.
